Hello my loves! I wanted to start off by introducing myself to all of you.
Some of you may know me and my story but I’m sure most of you may not.
Why do this? Because I want you guys to get to know a little about me, my brand, and what I stand for.
- So let’s jump right into it!
- 1. I am 5’9
- 2. I come from a long line of Pastors, Preachers, and Ministers, so yeah, I am a PK (preachers kid)
- 3. I married the man of my dreams who happen to also be a PK (preachers kid)
- 4. I love light bread! I can eat it without any toppings any time of day
- 5.I love to write. My 10th grade english teacher told me I had a gift and I’ll never forget that
- 6. I have a Masters Degree in Theology
- 7. I love all things hair related. I’ve been actively growing my hair since I was 18.
- 8. I’ve been relaxed and natural and reached mid back-waist length in both states.
- 9. I’m a girly girl. That is to say I love shopping. But as I get older, I enjoy online shopping more than actually showing up at the store.
- 10. I don’t like large crowds.
- 11. When I sleep I like it to be pitch black dark
- 12. I don’t like sweets unless its chocolate.
- 13. I’m allergic to nuts, onions, tomatoes, and peppers. Sucks, right?!
- 14.I could eat Longhorn Steakhouse every day of the week and never get bored.
- 15. I hate going with the crowd. If everyone is watching something around the world (award shows, presidential debates, etc) then I automatically will not watch. Weird, I know.
- 16. I love action movies. I could watch the same ones over and over again and not get bored.
- 17. I can sometime be a real germophobe. If I think about something too much or where somethings been, I can freak myself out.
- 18. I ask my husband the same 3 questions everyday in the exact same order. He hates it but he knows I wont stop so he just continues to answer them like its his first time hearing them.
- 19. I am working to create my own textured hair care line called Oyintare Hair (O-yen-tare).
- 20. I love vintage clothing more than new ones. I think they are chic.
- 21. I am more loyal than I portray.
- 22. I am both an introvert and extrovert. So I guess I am an introverted extrovert, meaning, I can be very outgoing and very shy at the same time. Most people take this negatively and think the worst of me but at this point in my life, I no longer care.
- 23. I can stay inside my home for days or weeks at a time and never step foot outside
- 24. Not a fan of animals
- 25. I can’t sleep with socks on
- 26. I have brown eyes
- 27. I love singing and dancing and sometimes I do them at the same time. Especially in the shower. It is my stage and I don’t need a microphone. I mean seriously, have you ever heard the acoustics in the shower? It’s phenomenal.
- 28. My favorite color is purple.
- 29. Besides my husband, I have had the same best friend since the 7th-8th grade
- 30. I love playing board and card games with my family. We are very competitive and winning is FUN!
- 31. I can really focus on things for a few days and then I immediately lose focus
- 32. I’m good at a lot of things but rarely see all these things through, which SUCKS.
- 33. My favorite soda is Mello Yello
- 34. I like all types of Christian music, from contemporary to gospel to rap and rnb
- 35. I’m not into zodiac signs. I think its a waste of time looking to the stars to tell me what im like instead of looking to the one who created me, God
- 36. I don’t have a favorite season. I like/hate them equally LOL
- 37. I have too many siblings to count and even more nieces and nephews
- 38. I have been with my husband for 3 years 8 months at the time I’m writing this
- 39. I bought my first house at age 32 and in my 2nd year of marriage
- 40. My nickname growing up with my dads family was shug, like sugar cause im sweet. My nickname with my moms family was Pee. LOL Don’t ask me why cause I don’t know. And no it wasn’t because I pee’d in the bed LOL
- 41. If I had time to go back to school, I would go to beauty school to do hair.
- 42. My goal is to be so financially stable that I can support my parents and grandparents. I want them to be able to swipe without worry of price
- 43. In middle school, I was choking on a peppermint but was too embarrassed to ask for help. I could have died worrying about people seeing me choke smh. Don’t be like that my youngins. People’s opinion aren’t worth it.
- 44. I do not have any tattoos or piercings. I am not a fan of pain so these things aren’t for me
- 45. The most romantic thing that someone has done for me is surprise me with a horseback riding adventure. It was my hubby 😉
- 46. I’ve never broken any bones and I thank God for that cause I do not like pain
- 47. I don’t believe in soul mates
- 48. I hate exercising
- 49. My earliest memory is me kissing my middle brother on the cheeks when my mom brought him home from the hospital (he had just been born) and then asking if I could and she said no hes too young right now. Not knowing I had already kissed him LOL
- 50. And my 50th fact is dedicated to my love, I randomly think of how much better my life is with my husband in it and I pounce on him randomly. It probably freaked him out the first few times I did it but now hes used to it and he just embraces me back. That’s love!
